As the forecasts are determined purely by changes in atmospheric pressure, how often the clock moves to a different forecast is governed by how much the air pressure is fluctuating. On some days you may see the clock change several times and at other times it's not unusual for the clock to not move at all for several days. This simply reflects that the air pressure is remaining steady - as is the case in stable anticyclonic conditions.
