Some small dimples on the surface of the metal clock frame are unavoidable. These dimples show where the mechanism fixing brackets are welded by hand to the inside of the spun steel frame.
We go to great lengths to keep them as discreet as possible, but it is not unusual to find one or two on close inspection, particularly on copper or chrome frames. It’s all part of being assembled by hand.
