If you have a clock that needs to be transported somewhere, we recommend a few things:

- Always turn the clock off at the switch and remove the battery for the clock hands when you take it down from the wall

- If the clock is to be stored for any length of time, store it stood up, as if it is still on the wall when inside its box. Alternatively, for short time periods only (less than a day), the clock can lie on its back.

- Use the box it came in, or other packing that simply prevents heavy knocks or scratches

- If your clock came with one inserted, do NOT ever try to reinsert the 'transport lock' pin that will have been removed when starting the clock for the very first time. Doing so will damage the internal mechanism and invalidate your warranty

- Do NOT send the clocks in the post or they will most likely be badly damaged!
